Job Description:

- You will be working as a Site Project Engineer and will be a part of the Electrification Business and Distribution Solution Business Line based in Dubai, UAE.
- In this role you will be supporting service sales in successful execution and closing of the assigned service orders by coordinating with required functions involved.
- Same is based on the techno-commercial requirements of the contracts, customer’s expectations and by suggesting the bottom line optimizing ideas to Sales Engineer’s.
- This is in line with compliance regulation and the internal rules.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting service sales for the service order / project activities and order booking in SAP.
- Understanding the project requirements and keep checking and informing service sales on the incoming project documentation.
- Generating the regular project documentations such as project schedule, progress reports, FAT invitation, milestone documentation etc.
- Coordinating with various internal departments as per requirements of the project. Keeping track of invoicing, variations, payment receipts, internal and externals goals etc.
- Handling the documentation for initiating the procurement action. Doing follow-up and monitoring of timely receipt of material.
- Keeping track of non-conformances and monitoring corrective actions to control costs and schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attending the customer meetings as per requirement and helping engineering for compliance statement.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in project engineering along with working knowledge on MV switchgear systems, LV components, VFD, soft starters, PLC. Project commercial matter is an added advantage.
- Should be adept in computing- MS Office, MS project, SAP etc.
- Good communication skills.
