Role description:
- Financial Analyst will play a critical role in assisting the coordination and execution of business planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis for EME business.
- This role will provide finance support to internal business partners, providing thoughtful analysis and insight into business trends.
- Essential duties and responsibilities include monthly close, budgeting, LBE planning and forecasting, variance analysis, distributor contracts, decision support projects and ad hoc analysis, feasibilities etc.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare analyses of EME weekly, monthly, quarterly financial results, reporting packages, highlighting, and investigating key variances.
- Prepare daily/monthly sales customized reports to support the commercial team.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports in due time.
- Contribute and assist in key month end activities to align with forecast & to ensure accurate results and financial records. Ensure all expenditures are appropriately booked and compliant with GAAP and Abbott policies.
- Preparing and reconciling monthly accruals with proper support and coordinating with Accounting departments across the region.
- Proactively seek to improve and enhance Area financial and business processes. Streamline processes and identify opportunities to standardize and provide efficiency.
PLANNING, BUDGETING & FINANCIAL ANALYSIS:
- Support the consolidation and analyses of the Monthly, Quarterly Budget and Annual Planning processes, including support in preparation and review of the EME Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Risks/Opportunities, and other Ad-Hoc analyses.
- Coordinating with Commercial in providing them with support necessary to understand their analytics.
- Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
- Partner with the accounting/ treasury departments across EME region to consolidate the monthly expenses/accruals.
- Prepare and manage EME distributor contracts
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Develop professional relationships with commercial stakeholders
- Coach & prepare Affiliate Finance team members on requirements and deliverables.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 4 years in financial planning and reporting role
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum university degree in Finance / Accounting / applied economics
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES / EXPERIENCES
- Fluent in English (= working language)
- Expert in Excel and ability to program in visual basic a definite plus
- PowerPoint skills, knowledge of Power BI, HFM, SAP is a plus
- Accounting experience a plus
- Highly analytical, with an eye for detail
- Entrepreneurial and creative
- Strong commitment, willing to take ownership
- Experience working in a multicultural environment, with strong, professional communication and writing skills

والمهام الوظيفية:
- إعداد تحليلات للنتائج المالية الأسبوعية والشهرية والفصلية ، وحزم التقارير ، وتسليط الضوء ، والتحقيق في الفروق الرئيسية.
- إعداد تقارير المبيعات اليومية / الشهرية المخصصة لدعم الفريق التجاري.
- إعداد التقارير الخاصة في الوقت المناسب.
-المساهمة والمساعدة في أنشطة نهاية الشهر الرئيسية لتتماشى مع التوقعات لضمان دقة النتائج والسجلات المالية. تأكد من أن جميع النفقات محجوزة بشكل مناسب ومتوافقة مع سياسات GAAP و Abbott.
- إعداد وتسوية الاستحقاقات الشهرية مع الدعم المناسب والتنسيق مع إدارات المحاسبة في جميع أنحاء المنطقة.
- السعي بشكل استباقي لتحسين وتعزيز العمليات المالية والتجارية في المنطقة. تبسيط العمليات وتحديد الفرص للتوحيد القياسي وتوفير الكفاءة.
التخطيط والميزانية والتحليل المالي:
- دعم توحيد وتحليل الميزانية الشهرية والربع سنوية وعمليات التخطيط السنوي ، بما في ذلك الدعم في إعداد ومراجعة بيان الدخل ، والميزانية العمومية ، والمخاطر / الفرص ، والتحليلات الأخرى المخصصة.
- التنسيق مع Commercial في تزويدهم بالدعم اللازم لفهم تحليلاتهم.
- تحسين الوضع المالي من خلال تحليل النتائج. فروق المراقبة ؛ تحديد الاتجاهات ؛ التوصية بالإجراءات للإدارة.
- الشراكة مع إدارات المحاسبة / الخزانة عبر منطقة أوروبا والشرق الأوسط لتوحيد المصروفات / المستحقات الشهرية.
- إعداد وإدارة عقود موزعي EME
إدارة الناس
- تطوير العلاقات المهنية مع أصحاب المصلحة التجاريين
- تدريب وإعداد أعضاء فريق الشؤون المالية التابعة على المتطلبات والتسليمات.
