Job description:
- You will be working as a Senior Project Engineer and will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Distribution Solutions Division based in 10th Of Ramadan City.
- In this role you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for support to ABB’s business strategy by developing and managing a preferred supply base that enhances ABB’s competitiveness and success of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Performing all the activities related to the assigned projects including preparation of drawings, bill of materials, schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Implementing latest ABB technologies related to the product and being sure of following ABB processes related to this activity.
- Reviewing technical studies and orders to ensure that all client specification is strictly followed.
- Interacting with clients, supporting the clients in the favor of the company by promoting ABB products.
- Cooperating with the engineering manager, project management and planning team to load the factory production line.
- Monitoring the department key performance indicators such as FPY and OPQ, continuous monitoring and analysis are the main area of responsibility of the job holder.
- Interacting with key clients as input for product marketing, supporting the clients in the favor of the company by promoting ABB products and leaving positive impression about the ABB employees.
- Improving customer experience is also a key parameter of the job holder, he is part of the team collecting and resolving the customer complaints by ABB official tool which is CCRP.
- Performing techno-commercial studies for the selected offers. Performing site visits with the service experts to give his technical support to either ABB service team or customer.
- Participating with the engineering team in the efforts to promote ABB ability solutions especially in the digital MV SWG solutions.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with the customers and all internal key stakeholders and undertake all responsibilities with the reference to the procedures and process.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical power and machines.
- Minimum 5 years in medium voltage switchgear with preferred experience in gas insulated designing (GIS) designing.
- Good to have knowledge and experience in electrical systems with good knowledge about design processes, trainings about SAP, customer satisfaction, communication skills, presentation skills, ISO 9001 requirements, with good knowledge about related software applications ( AutoCAD and Eplan).
- Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required. French is an advantage.
