Job Description:
Responsible for making sure the correct inventory is maintained in the local warehouse in Egypt. In direct contact with planners in Europe to make sure replenishment are arriving timely and in good order. The supply chain planner is working in close cooperation with the Customer Care & Supply Chain Manager and Business Unit Managers on forecasting of required products. The job requires good knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance- and certification procedures, understanding of products flow through customs clearance agents, third party logistic suppliers responsible for the transit warehouses and final customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management
• Monitoring of shipments «In-transit».
• Support of customs clearance procedure.
• Support of inventory management. Damaged/missed goods monitoring.
• Control over product availability to reduce items on back-order.
• Detecting and managing of abnormal demand.
• Coaching and feedback to Supply Chain planning in Europe on structural improvement possibilities.
• Monitoring of shipments «In-transit».
• Support of customs clearance procedure.
• Support of inventory management. Damaged/missed goods monitoring.
