Job description:
- The Assistant Manufacturing Manager will lead the manufacturing team and manage all aspects of the manufacturing operations as well as maintaining highest standards of safety, health & environment, quality, and service levels at the right cost.
- The incumbent will be a key member of the site leadership team.
- The MFG manager will also promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement using the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) tools and contribute actively to the development and wellbeing of the factory team with a team of almost 100 employees between engineers and blue-collar staff.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure complete compliance to the Company’s Safety, Health and Environment policies and standards.
- Ensure high quality standards and agreed operational performance targets are met.
- Manage the manufacturing operations and lead production process improvements on a daily basis.
- Manage and improve conversion costs through cost improvement programmes and Kaizens.
- Ensure continuous skill and competency development of shopfloor employees and team leaders.
- Ability to lead, motivate and coach a team of operators and team leaders to achieve high performance results.
- Manage the site labour availability, efficiency and commitment to high performance.
- Drive WCM activities in the plant and lead the Autonomous Maintenance Pillar.
- Ensure that MFG Processes and procedures are reviewed and updated periodically.
- Interact with the supply chain to ensure efficient production planning and execution.
- Chair the daily factory production meeting.
- Agree an annual budget for production with the factory manager and ensure it is met.
- Ensure accurate and timely measurement and reporting of factory performance.
- Drive the implementation of the Factory Operating System
- Support and actively promote a culture of teamwork, achievement and continuous improvement in LJA.
- Ensure proper systems and procedure are in place for high level of inventory accuracy of RM / PM / FG.
- To demonstrate visible leadership in the shopfloor.
- To manage employee relations to ensure high engagement levels.
- Implement HR policies and procedures.
- Support implementation of innovation within the factory and deliver to agreed ramp up plans.
- Manage and improve deployment of resources, people budgets and assets, to comply with cost and financial targets.

Relevant Experience:
- People management experience with large teams or team of teams with experience of leading teams of blue collars.
- 3-5 Years’ experience in Managerial role within the FMCG industry with proven track record
- Bachelors’ degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electrical)
- Foods and beverages experience is preferred
- World Class Manufacturing or TPM knowledge is a must
- MBA or Engineering master’s degree holder is a plus

- يفضل تجربة الأطعمة والمشروبات
- تصنيع على مستوى عالمي أو معرفة TPM أمر لا بد منه
- حاصل على ماجستير إدارة الأعمال أو ماجستير الهندسة زائد
